While all of the people pictured are of Afrian descent, they have a range of phenotypes, some of which overlap with the Hispanic Caribbean as I've stated on here before. Some of the woman in the post above would be seen as Latina here before African American.

I agree with you. I think you can virtually pick someone out that looks like from any country in Africa and most in latin America.

Within the population you have a wide variety of looks.

These girls look straight from the horn...lol

They actually do. I've even seen some Cape Verdeans who looked East Indian.


Most of the ones I see in my area fall into a 'light skinned black' or Caribbean 'Hispanic' range, although some look significantly more African.

Cape Verde has alot of east African types, maybe the mixture produced the pseudo East African look

After several demos, recordings, and singing backup for artists such as Puff Daddy, Cantrell wa.

She is suppose to be less than a 1/4 black, but fits into the AFRAM range of black(if you take out the contacts and blonde weave). I feel she should not look so black if the description of her background is right.
I think her father is part CV, but the Narragansett indian part is probaly a grandparent who is predomitly black but has 1/8 native american or something. She looks like a straight mulatta under all that hair and makeup.
